A testimonial play about the search for identity. What does it mean to feel “different” all the time? An actor’s appearance is not only a tool, but also a destiny. What is a Kyrgyz, an Uzbek, an Armenian, or a Kalmyk to do in Russian cinema? And if you carry a whole bouquet of nationalities within you, and your face does not resemble that of the majority of the audience, can you succeed?

Who do you really feel you are if you are non-format — not only in your profession, but also in your country? Not only in your country, but even in your family? Perhaps there is another question behind this one: Who am I?
Non-format is a testimonial performance in which actors speak about themselves, their profession, their roots, their traumas, and their discoveries.
